For sale is a set of Slee Heavy rear springs for a 100 series land cruiser. Per the slee website these are good for 2" of lift and additional load of 250 lbs. Had these on my truck and subsequently added a significant amount of weight and needed to upgrade to some heavier duty springs. These...
Most shops will not repair that type of puncture. There is a risk that the plug will pull out during a turn. You can plug it but there is a risk of failure there.
I had a similar issue on my last truck; i put a new battery in months prior to the smog check but had only driven short distances (less than 15 miles) since and was totally caught off guard when the smog guy told me the issue. I happened to have a cheap OBD reader that worked with my phone and I...
many threads on this already, but I believe you will need to source a replacement connector as the plugs are different from the earlier 80/100A alternators and the later LC/Sequoia ones. I ended up destroying the original plug on my wire harness when removing it from the alternator anyways so...
I have Slee heavy duty springs on my truck in the back with the slee remote reservoir shocks (OME torsions up front). I thought the slee springs rode a bit stiff with no weight in the back. I have since added some DIY drawers and that helped with the ride quality.
I have one on my truck- agree its great! one thing to watch out for is dirt being thrown up by the rear wheel and getting stuck in the bumper. Mine is semi-rusty (rusty for CA at least) due to dirt sitting in there for too long. The previous owner installed the one on my truck so I'm not sure if...
I have the Slee shocks on my truck and they quoted ~$200 plus parts as needed to rebuild. Mine are probably due to be rebuilt as well. I assume its worth it to get them rebuilt, but I know there are some more competitors out there now (bilsteins, icon, etc). I have mused at buying a replacement...
The area at the top of my rear hatch always seems to collect a bunch of gunk- that's pretty obvious if there is a problem though, start by cleaning that well. I believe the other area that is known to leak is the 5th brake light up top across the top of the hatch. Do you have 3rd row seats...
sounds like you looked but my first thought would be to check the fusable link on the battery (100A fuse). Do you have a test light or continuity checker? As mentioned make sure to replace that old ground cable. Whats the battery voltage? You could have cooked it.
Good luck!
