I stopped by Slee the other day and was presented with this beauty. :grinpimp: Aside from one stubborn bolt, it bolted right up. Drilling out broken bolts takes a lot of time so lube everything really well and take your time. You do need to make sure to support the t-case and transmission when unbolting the old parts. I know one person that dropped the assembly on himself (not me ;)) when he mounted up his skidplate. Luckily, I learned from his mistake.

Thank you Christo, and the fine folks at Slee, for making these for us.

The one pictured is pre-production so a few things may change on the final version.

Thank you Gary for all you do for me and the shiny bolts.

Looks great! What is the price range on those going to be? How thick is the material?

It has changed some since the original prototype that my wife tested on the Rubicon in 2008. This one is still in service under her truck.

Correct.

I could sure use one of those my factory tin thing got smashed by some not so nice rocks in Colorado last week. Any idea on a price? I wish I would have had time to stop by Slee when i drove through Golden.

Looking good. Can you still easily access the x-fer case and transmission drain plugs?

It must be some sort of optical illusion, but it really looks like 2 different parts in the top/bottom photo.

I have the old SLEE design and have been very happy. It has taken some abuse under my truck. It looks like this new skid would not interfere with my MetalTech slider.

I wonder how this compares with old SLEE design.
1) Coverage: new wins
2) Ground Clearance: ??
3) Weight: ??
4) Access to DLs and drains: ???

I emailed Christo about these yesterday and I will be getting one when they are avail in three weeks. Can't wait!!!

damn if that only came out sooner I would have skipped on the IPOR and bought this .. but the IPOR is fine too though I like the design of this a little more :)

Looks really good Christo, I like the design. Full coverage and no bolt heads to get smashed and get hung up on. Any ideas if these are compatible with Hanna Quality sliders? I can take some measurements if you want.

P.S. You can also send me one for R&D, since you’ve only been working on these for 4 years.:D

It will not work with the 93-94 Hanna sliders. You would have to completely re-work the RH slider front mount and that would be impossible with the Hanna cat skid.

Oh thanks Dan! Rain on Tare's parade will you. :flipoff2: I do like the no bolt heads exposed to getting knocked off.

Slee's original t-case skid plate is working just fine with my Hana sliders...and yes, it does have scrapes and scuffs! ;)

And on mine.

When I got the prototype from Christo I was bummed because I wanted to put it on my truck, not my wife's...............

I notched the prototype to clear the RH Metaltech slider on my wife's truck.

I want some more details before I plunk down the cash.

I also noticed that the SLEE 100 series skid is AL. I assumed this was steel?
