I have the Safari snorkel... I would make sure that the template is very close if not the same as the Safari just in case the material does not last...

(imported into Australia, non-Airflow)

What does the "non-airflow" mean?
are they referring to the brand?

Def phillipines... fog as thick as pea soup ..... clear lights nearly useless

I have been wondering how well some of the cheap Chinese knock offs would work. Keep us posted if you get one.

typed badly on my iPhone using IH8MUD

For sub $30 snorkels (plus shipping) from China, check out the following website:

Rahoo 4X4 Equipment Factory

I am attaching their price list - they have a lot of other 4x4 stuff. Please note I am not affiliated with this Company in any way and do not know their quality or reliability.

I was going to order a snorkel from them but have now decided to build one myself out of 3" pipe (although it works out more expensive than Rahoo 4X4 Equipment Factory).

Attached is their price list which they sent to me on 12th November 2011.

Hope this helps some forum users.

Holy ridiculously cheap parts!!!!

I wonder what shipping on a bumper costs...? Im sure it won't fit right and will crumple if I hit a deer, but isn't that what they are supposed to do?

Yeah for those prices, order two of everything. I'll wait for some feedback before ordering. Considering a winch, compressor and snorkel.

That snorkel looks just like the Safari one - It even has the untextured oval for the logo. Something tells me both snorkels come from the same plant. I did see a independent test done on a Safari and a knock off. Apparently the Safari is stronger.

Edit - here are those test results - http://www.dont-get-burnt.com/report.html

I would be a little skeptical @ that price.
One thing ive learned over the years is "you get what you pay for"

Thats exactly what I wanted to see. I figured they are made side by side in China but was wondering what was different materials wise.

Snorkel failed at -20c that's below 0 farenheit- most trucks requiring snorkel will Never see those temps....

I'll order from them as long as I'm not the first guy. I've been in the parts business long enough to know the markup associated with off road parts is frequently 39% or better. That price list confirms that info. I'm not saying these parts are the same, but it would be interesting to see.

You might be right, but many on here see temperatures colder than that.
