I have ordered several custom mixed spray cans from a local shop and I'm not very satisfy with the paint. For some reason the paint I ordered didn't really look like the original paint on the vehicle. Granted, there are a lot of things can go wrong, my non-professional environment, my experience, and the vehicle is 16 years old. However, the paint on the hood shouldn't have streaks of lighter paint compare to other parts of the hood. So, in your opinion, what are some good reputable custom mixed services that you have used and satisfied?

Well, the first thing is that no paint is going to match 16 year old paint... The paint on your vehicle is faded, oxidized, and a bunch of other things.
From there, did they do a color match or did you just ask for XXX paint code and that is what they gave you? My local shop can "profile" a color and try to get it closer for you.
Ordering off the internet isn't likely to get you anything closer than a local shop.
