I
Rear heater was deleted by previous owner. It looks like it came from the drivers side by the radiator and dripped down to the low point across to the passenger side.
can’t think of much on the drivers side other than the upper rad hose and the PHH. Other than a out and out end tank failure of the rad itself ? I think I would check the clamps on the upper rad hose 1st

Could be a fatigue crack in a rad hose. How old are yours?

It definitely looks like its dripped down on the tie rod then to the ground from there, directly above the pooling spot there really doesn't seem to be any hoses. That's mostly why I initially think it has run across from the divers side.

Looking at the previous owners maintenance notes it looks like he replaced the Radiator in 2018, I imagine some of the hoses were replaced then. I do see a # ending in 17 on a couple hoses which seems to line up if the rad was replaced in 18. The upper and lower rad hoses are definitely not OEM, they are HPS.

Well, wipe 'er down, top 'er off, and run the engine for a bit. I'm sure you'll be able to trace the leak if that much coolant is coming out.

Well I had plans to do my driveline trouble shooting but came back to a a dead battery. Got that back up and going. This morning I wanted to start it and I let it idle for about 20 minutes and came back to a total surprise.

Coolant leak, about 3/4 of the reservoir gone now. I need to get more coolant to before starting it again to look for a source. Any ideas on this aggressive of a leak? Truck has been sitting here for 2 weeks so no clue what would have caused this.

If it's that aggressive you'll have no problem identifying the source of the leak once you run it again.

You could slap a small power steering cooler right next to or halfway behind that fan and be even better off. I added a small radiator type on my 80 easily and they are way better than the factory "paperclip". Just a thought. Sweet rig you have. SLEE shortbus bumper? That's what I have.

Wheeled her @ Yankee Toys FallGathering in NH!!!! Carnage Trail, then Field and Forest the next day. I need hydro assist bad.

Finally took the LX450 out on 35s and ran (most of) Naches trail. I knew she was gonna be awesome offroad, but I had no idea she'd be this good! It was so fun to cruise around up that little pass. We found a lot of mud, some snow, a lot of rain. The LX450 didn't skip a beat up and over everything I threw at her!

Checked out the North rim, Vermillion Cliffs, and AZ strip area.

1500 miles, around $550 in fuel over seven days. I'm guessing approx 300 miles of aired down on trails.

Continuing from previous post :

Whitmore trail overlook and a hike down to the CO river. Driving over a lava field is torturous and the hiking is not fun. 15-20 psi in the tires and a decent set of treads are required.

Finished up the dual battery install. Next up is the slider install. Got a generic set of Trail Gear sliders and the mounting bracket kit for less than $400 shipped from Jegs. Not the same cool factor as the 80 specific ones but they'll get the job done. And they aren't delayed by 2-6 months from overwhelming demand.

What does your dual kit consist of?

Nothing crazy. Blue Sea 7622 with the remote button for auto, manual connect, or manual disconnect. Shameless plug for the Wits-End useless ashtray thingamabob and LandCruiserPhil battery hold down.

Pay no attention to the red wire not in the loom. It's not touching anywhere now

Installed rear windows, new grab handles, new badges, and removed weight I don't need. Also coated the under carriage with WD-40 - has served me well on all my Toyotas!
