Quick intro my name is Sam and I have a problem. I have a 08 FJ Cruiser just turned over 65 k it was my wife’s daily driver until 2 years ago. I went with a local group from Kansas City with a bunch of 80's and I was hooked so the "problem" began.
After that…there was no stopping.

But let me back up just a little bit. Why the name American by choice. I became a citizen 3 years ago. I'm originally from Slovakia and it has been a 17 year journey to be part of the best country in the world. Here I'm today.

Everything I put on this FJ I did my self after reading the blue room and here on what to do and what not to do my father in law did supervise. Here is the list

Hahah. I know. I know. I gave myself 2 years to build this thing. I have to get tires first which I'm ordering in the middle of next month. Still a toss up b/w mtr's and km2's. At the end of the summer I'm probably going with lcnw front bumper and mt swing out in the rear.

I'm a KM2 fan for the conditions I run into, MTR's are an excellent choice as well.

I'd just hate to see you bump a tree or rock and shove that "brush guard" into your fender/hood. Looks like your getting yourself into some fun trails, enjoy... :beer:
