I can recommend RPM Garage in Monrovia (210 freeway and 605 freeway). They've done lots of work on my personal vehicle (99 LX470: steering rack replacement, 3" lift, air locker and rear differential repair, radiator/hoses, transfer case R&R, more to come) and are quite popular in Southern California and beyond. The owner has 100/80/60 series Landcruisers and tries to wheel as often as he can.

Their Instagram is also good to browse. Be prepared for temptation as their customers ask for plenty of lift kits, bumpers, and other goodies.

Did you see any 100s or 200s at the shop?

I happened to drive by K&H in January and spoke to Armando briefly. They are located at:
21420 Ingomar St.
Canoga Park, CA 91304
There is a big sign "LANDCRUISER SPECIALISTS" on the front of the building so you can't miss it. That's how I noticed them.
I did NOT see anything newer than an 80 series when I visited, but there were quite a few J60 J62 and J80
