I've got an 07 FJC that is my wife's grocery getter. All stock. It's got 150k miles and it's not as smooth riding as it once was.

What are some shock options that will keep a pretty much stock OEM ride. Toyota OEM shocks are going to be nearly $450 for all 4

Thanks for the input

I have Bilstien 5100's on my 07 FJC that I've had since new ... the Bilstiens came with the Toytec Ultimate 3" lift at the time ... not the best, not the worst, but they serve my purpose ... my truck has evolved into my DD ...

You can usually get some takeoff Bilsteins on the blueroom forum for 250 or less (with springs)

Probably the best way to go.

5100s are nice. You could level it with them, which makes a huge difference in looks, nose-dive, and seeing stop lights. Down sides to that is it will decrease MPG and then you will start modding it more lol

Bilstien 5100's just installed on my 2008 FJ. Can't be beat for the price.

Bilstein's are good replacement shocks. A bit pricey but they will last for several years.
