I used quite a bit of epoxy putty and JB weld when I refurbed my top a few months ago. No judgement from me!:beer:

Doing excellent work there:clap: really good fabrication on door, something I have to attend to on the drivers door (Aus side) so will be looking at your pics when it comes time:) Good work, wish I had a shed large enough to do all the work your doing (Envy) Happy new year:beer:
 
now the tub and fenders prep
PO was a chrome type , me not much , he custom made part like turn signal guard , front bumper and reinforcement for the rear sill and front bib out of stainless that he polish to a mirror finish ( alot of work ) those parts will never rust ,so i keep those , but other parts like windshield and hood hinges are chrome plated and starting to rust , so those parts are going back to body color like factory

I am so jealous of your starting point, my 1981 aspires to be what your acquired.... Can't wait to see your final product.
