ok everyone....here are the details of this clean-up.....we will be meeting at 9:30 a.m, at Deol Estate Winery. 6645 Somenos Road, Duncan B.C, on October 28th.....
directions from Victoria:
trans canada hwy to hwy 18 ( cow lake rd).turn left...go over the railroad tracks, turn left on Somenos Road...approx 1/2 km down somenos road on the left......look for signage....
from Nanaimo:
trans canada hwy to hwy 18 ( cow lake road)...turn right....go over the railroad tracks, turn left on somenos road...approx 1/2 km down somenos road on the left....look for signage...
There will be a b.b.q for the public during our clean-up, and the BCJC and Island 4x4 b.b.q will start at 4 p.m...there will be wine-tasting at the winery, at a cost of $2.00 per person....there will be wine for sale, with either no duty or no taxes.....HIGHLY recommend the wine-tasting, to show our appreciation for Deol Estate Winery, for opening their doors to us for our clean-up......
if people are bringing dogs to the clean-up, they need to remain either in their owner's vehicle or on-leash while at the Winery.
Hope to see everyone there!!!

Good for you Andrew. Great to see the effort you all put in and nice to see it recognized in the local media.
