I just imported a LJ78 last week and having a hard time finding insurance for it. What insurance company do you use in the US?

State Farm had no issue writing our policy with our KZJ78. And I have heard of others using them as well.

USAA with zero issues. However, you have to be military, a family member, etc.

Grundy under a classic policy. $500 a year with agreed upon value of $40k.

I had Hagerty on my Defender and when I went to them for my Cruiser they didn’t like my request for 8k miles a year. Once they deny a request or policy they will never let you create a new policy with them ever again no matter what the request is.

Two weeks later, finally has insurance. Hagerty said they can't insure it. But Farmers was able to do it through Hagerty. Thank you everyone for the input.

Interesting. I was able to get Hagerty with no issues.

Same, they also insured it for agreed upon value of my 77

My other rig is a Unimog, when I went for insurance the local rep for State Farm said no. I asked to talk to owner of the agency and explained that all my insurance was through State Farm and had been for 35 years. The policy was written the next day.
