hELP. FJ "door is ajar" (1 Viewer)

Hey Hey,
I just noticed that my FJ is confused. She thinks her door is open, she is telling me with the red indicator light on the dash.

The door is clearly closed, all 5 doors to be exact. The overhead lamp won't go off on it's own either.

Any Jedi Masters out there with some wisdom??

Did you check the rear glass?

The switches that tell the door is open are pretty self explanatory... they're the rubber things in the door jams. If you disconnect them (break the ground) the FJ will think the door is shut. You need a 10mm socket, and they just have a connector right behind them you can disconnect easy. Maybe you have one that's always grounded.

Yep, my son had the same problem yesterday.
And I bet you can't use your remote to close the doors.

wife "It was the rear glass!"
