Some of ya'll prolly know of Franken80. Nick Hanna, aka AuburnFJSexy built it. Well. He delivered it to it's new owner today: Land Speeder.

Here is his thread:

J let me store it in his shop in Argo for now since I have no place to keep it:

I already had dem stickies from last month... and @woody sold me some TrailReady Beadlocks last week... but Nick gave me all his spare 80-series crap. Including the beginning of a "1-ton yota" front axle!

Had a few folks there that wanted to see the rubbers mounted... so we mounted'em!

Pretty much where it's at "for now".... For a while. LOL. He wanted it out of his garage, and I wanted it... But I gotta find a trailer AND a place to live to keep and wrench on this thing. It's a proven rig, I've even taken it up a few trails at Golden Mountain at a ride a couple years ago. But I already know a few things I wanna do to it.

Stay tuned....

I knew it!! Looking forward to seeing how #10 comes together.

Congrats.

Edit: I just realized that this thread needs a

ROH TAHD!!

ROH TAHDE!
...I add the "E". (get it?)

Dangit... I thought I had it.

So what's the plans? I know it's already got the t-case gears. You gonna build the front axle? If you get good you can help me build one for Bruce when the time comes. Is Mulligan gonna have to give up some of his goodies to his new brother?

Looking forward to seeing what kinda spin you put on it.

Bout the only thing I'll rob are the the MetalTech rear lower arms. They're BEEF. I'll need to buy a LOT. And figure out a LOT more. It's wheelable now. But I gotta make it the way I like it.

Now that is a trailer!!!

What is the motor house tow rating? Overall length of motor house and trailer might exceed DOT limits, but it would look awesome rolling down the road. :steer:

Sticky-ickies juss sticking to errthang.

Totally DOMINATED this one obstacle...

It's actually has a leaking wheel seal on that corner, so I cranked it up as to not leak on the floor. LOL

Is this pre or post wedding?

Dem stickies looking good.

Had a visitation today with FrankenDigger. Was out there getting the motorhouse earl-change..... needed some good shots of this junk since I didn't have any good ones...

Also, not sure why Nick wheeled this thing so long WITHOUT rear shocks... but I done gone ahead and bought them 2003 F150 rear shocks! (12" of travel)

I dont think those 12" shocks are going to work. The reason I ran with no shocks for so long, was because I keep busting them. Unless you go thru the floor, there just isnt enough space for shocks. The ass end of that truck will flex like crazy... I am trying to find a video of it on 15 at WindRock where you can really see it flex...
