Gauge Marks™ FJ40 Gauge Restoration Package!
Before and after pics:
If you have been following our thread in the 40-and 55- series tech section , you already know about these gauge restoration packages. If not, here is a quick summary. Gauge Marks is a gauge restoration business that does complete gauge repair, restoration, and calibration for 70-79 Camaro and Trans Am, 66-67 Chevelle, and 73-77 Chevelle. We also offer DIY gauge restoration packages for those same vehicles on the gaugemarks.com website.
We now offer complete DIY gauge face restoration packages for FJ40 with the 30 AMP gauge. We started with this package because it seems to be the most common. You can now restore your own gauges at a much lower cost than sending them out to a professional restoration service. You need only to remove the gauge faces from the cluster. The faces can be bead blasted or chemically stripped, then repainted or powdercoated. This package contains ALL of the markings you will need to reface the guages.
Introductory price is $99 with FREE shipping!!
What you will receive in your package:
*Speedometer markings with surround and numerals
*SPEED mph lettering
*OIL, FUEL, TEMP, and AMP gauge markings with bar and lettering
*OIL, FUEL, TEMP, and AMP lettering
Payments in US funds can be made through paypal. We also accept USPS money order. Please contact us through PM here or at info@gaugemarks.com for payment information, or if you have questions.
Remove faces and bezels and strip old paint. We used glass bead to blast the faces and bezels from this gauge set.
Mark the back of each gauge face to identify it before stripping the old paint.
Faces can be repainted or powdercoated any color that is desired. In this case we used a satin black finish.
The gauge marks can now be applied. Notice the location markers for the small gauges and SPEED mph.
PLEASE VIEW THE DEMO INSTALLATION VIDEO BY CLICKING HERE If you wish to skip the first few minutes, installation instructions begin at the 4:00 mark
Backlit closeup pic to show details of lettering and location markers
Faces can be reinstalled by drilling the rivet holes with a 3/32" drill bit and installing #4 sheetmetal screws. Needles can be painted with Testors Fluorescent Red.
We have six sets of this new package available for immediate delivery. We can and will adjust our stock according to purchase volume. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Thank you!
Daniel
