Can these molding be painted? mine are all beat up from the years of getting dinged up. Any particular paint that adheres better to the soft plastic?

X2 Look for old threads. A number of us, myself included have painted all or part of the molding. I used, and I think others did as well, Dupli-Colors Truck Bed coating. Rattle can, easy application, and holds up well. I'd repost pics, but am out of town until tomorrow night.

White body with that silver beige metalic trim/bumper paint.

I had mine painted matching white. looks better all one color.
