Tractor's a Peterbilt 330 with a 48" sleeper and a Ford dually bed.

32 foot deck gooseneck; 11.5 foot Lance with slideout; my Junk.

Picture taken on return of Lil' Pete's maiden voyage to Katemcy for the Round-Up.

What sort of mileage do you get when towing? Just curious.

Also-- why so much empty space between the camper and the cruiser?

of course.

Nice

I love it. I want a camper for my trailer, but I figure mine will be a 1970's vintage.

Sweet truck too. Sometimes a one ton dually just isn't enough.

Consider the "empty space" the front porch. Just need a couple banjo's. And with this set-up we are witnessing the ultimate motor-home.

... I bet it all started with bigger tires on the 40 :D

Hehehe ... when I went to 35's about 15 years ago. :grinpimp:

Got 8 mpg towin'. :steer:

I originally had the trailer built for a 60 buggy and my 40 buggy ... camper's shorter than a 60 buggy so got me some extra space. :meh:

Not for Johnny-Law atleast ... trailer gotta lil' heavy for my 1-ton. :frown:

Pretty sweet set up bud!

i dont know if you have a CDL, but i think its pretty crazy that ppl can drive stuff like that w/o a CDL, or at least that the law holds CDL holders to so high a standard when you have non CDL guys driving all manor of non commercial commercial trucks out there, but it sure is a nice set-up.

Big as Texas!!! I'd invite you over for a visit but I think you would have to arrive in the 40....You could only get about as close to about 1 mile away from my house with that rig.....

That is truly bad ass. Be hard to top that set up.

Thank you kindly sir.

I got me some fine-tunin' to do ... but I'm real happy so far.

Just got my hands on one of them lil' Kubota diesel thangs for free. I'm thinkin' some OD green paint and then she'll ride sideways on the gooseneck between the camper and the Cruiser. :steer:

Have you been over the scales yet? How much does the camper weigh by itself? What's the pin weight? Been considering doing something similar, but was planning to tow with a 3/4 ton...

Lil' Pete weighs 12,500 lbs.

Trailer weighs 15,000 lbs. loaded as pictured.

Camper DRY weight is 4,400 lbs., so figure a little over 5,000 loaded.

5,000 each also for my Cruiser and empty trailer, roughly speaking.

I apoligize I don't know the pin weight. :frown:

Several White Trash members have similar rigs but with a much smaller campers ... like an 8 or 9 foot cabover ... and mounted on low-boy goosenecks ... and those can be pulled with a heavy-duty 3/4 ton with rear air bags.

Good luck.
