CruiserCult 40 Series Product offerings

The original ignition switches on the early 40 series use screw terminals. One issue with the widely available Toyota alternative (84450-60040) is that it requires you to cut the original terminals off your harness and splice on a new connector. While that is generally fine for some... some prefer not altering the harness if they can help it. I am one of those people. :)
This super cool ignition switch recently came into our lives and it is the perfect replacement alternative to the new Toyota offering. It's still a new Toyota switch (made by Tokai Rika of course) but it has the correct rear screw terminals for the original harnesses! Plug and play. :D

These switches are quite costly for us to import so it cannot compete with 84450-60040 in that realm. These will cost $130 each. We are going to have two available soon.

I would like both please once available for purchase

This looks great, curious if anyone has ever used one of the cruiser corps freeborn red cans and color matched it to the dash, I'd be curious to see how that'd look!
Ooh, that is a good idea! Or even pewter. The red would definitely make it blend in more with the dash.

We have one more batch of light switches! I replaced my original with one of these and it was so nice to use. Solid clicks, light gremlins gone. :D
Can't beat new OEM. :grinpimp:

Just added this beauty to the shop. Very cool old Denso heater. Period correct for a 20 series or early 40. 12v unit thankfully and it works like a charm... although it could use a cleaning. It has the rear defroster diverters as well in great condition. :)
These heaters are based on early Bosch heaters. Denso licensed the design, as well as designs of other Bosch products at the time.

Recently added Heritage Cruisers to our parts reproducers page!
They currently make some great reproduction FJ40 parts.

The goal of our reproducers page is to compile all the great vendors who are working hard to reproduce parts that have become NLA. It can be really hard to get items back to market for the community, so all these efforts are much appreciated!

Putting the feelers out for potential interest in this overflow bottle bracket. The one I made for myself utilizes a cool City Racer bottle. It mounts to the two factory holes on the radiator support. Not sure how many years that covered in a 40 series yet (looks like maybe up to 1971). Interested? It would come with OEM bolts and the bracket. We still need to figure out pricing and materials used for construction (this one was made with stainless steel).
