So my 2011 when I open the driver side opened the drivers side door on my 2011 the chime goes off without the key in the ignition. I did have to get a jump yesterday after my battery died. What is my problem?

Don't know about the newer models, on my 07 the only alarms were keys in ign. and no seatbelt. My first mod was to snip the wires on them some bitchez. Sounds like its telling you something was left on. (batt. draw)

I would recommend going to a dealership mechanic and let them check it out. There are several settings they can adjust when it comes to chimes, remote locking (beeps) and such. Sounds like something got tweaked and just needs to be reset or reprogrammed.
