...is becoming quite the pain. Really don't want to have to break down and buy the Fourtrek's mounts.
Have everything I need; however, the fact that the damn OEM rack isn't square is killin' me.
I have the clamps that wrap around the rack, some cheapo L Brackets till my ARB brackets arrive and all the hardware.
Problem: L Brackets won't be 90 degrees vertical to accommodate the bolts sliding into the aluminum extrusion on rear of awning. Have a 2000mm awning.
Any recommendations? I know I can offset the holes i'm gonna drill in the brackets but that's gonna be tricky as well as weaken the mounting system.
