Any experience with Downey crossover pipe? (1 Viewer)

I have a '91 PU with the 3.0. I am looking to free up the exhaust with some new plumbing. Downey has crossover pipe kit for $120. This will eliminate the lovely stock reverse flow design. Does anyone have any experience with this crossover kit PN 17430?

That kit is for the header kit they sell. This will not work with your stock exhaust. This is a add-on for the headers.

I've heard that the full kit helps the 3.0 out some.

It's a shame there aren't any good(cheap) solutions to this crossover issue. I have a shop here in Nothern Utah who will do a great job but it will run $200-300 not including the highflow cat and new muffler.

Is 10hp been the experience from anyone who has done this exhaust work without the headers? Iv'e heard the header a are b$#@& to put in.
