We went camping in Cle Elum, WA this past weekend and took the 4runner.

Cle Elum Lake was about 60-70 feet low for the summer which left a huge silt/rock beach to play on. We wheeled over to the rougher and less populated side to play with the dogs. The Duratracs hook up really well in the soft silt/sand. It was funny to watch 4wd rigs with street tires struggle on the soft sections, and someone in a Jetta even tried to make it down. Going downhill they were fine... going back uphill was another story. They just got out and left the car there.

Keeping in tune with the title of this being a slow build... It's been a couple years since I posted but I'm back. :D

Anyone still around? I think I need to update my picture links since they appear to be dead.

More 4runner work is coming soon as well.

I know the feeling. I am in the same boat. Been busy with other things and haven't had time for much else lately, hoping to get some updates on mine soon as well. Look forward to seeing what you have in store.

Glad to see you back on board Chuck. Keep us posted on any upgrades even if it's a slow build.
