Yup. It's out by the Neighborhood just to the north of Spanish springs highschool. You should join us sometime! It's a fun trail but nothing too long.

Yup, its right next to the airport.

Been out a few more times at night to test out the rock lights. Not bad for $40! Also made some tube doors....

Heading out to the Rubicon next week for 3 days. :grinpimp:

Looks good Matt...right down to the sombrero!

Like it!!

One question.... Will that wrench handle jab the passengers arm??

Thanks guys.

The wrench isnt close to the passengers, but Im going to change it to something else either way. Maybe just a box end wrench... :grinpimp:

I wanted to make a handle and saw the wrench lying around so I put it to use!

Looking good. Hopefully the top removal will help with the rear sag. Especially when you load it with camping gear for your Rubicon trip. You are going to love the wheeling.

Where did you source the slam latches?

Jack

Just a little :grinpimp:

I dented the driver rear quarter a bit, but nothing major. I plan on building tube flares that go from the slider to the rear bumper just for that.

The trip was really fun though. We entered on the Tahoe side, and made camp at Buck Island. Observation point had about 30 engineers from Jeep testing out the new Cherokee. They had a helicopter flying around taking video even. People were detailing all the dents on the thing before they took pictures of it. Basically it was a stack fest for them from Loon in. I think its totally stupid Jeep even does this stuff. Your vehicle isn't capable of the Rubicon, its capable of driving over a bunch of stacked rocks! Just look at the stupid thing....

We spent Friday camped at buck and decided to run Old Sluice at night. That was the toughest part of the trip for sure. We didn't get back until 0130. All the trucks made it through the trail though and it was a blast. I really want to go back and see Old Sluice during the day though. Yesterday my friend and I left the group and headed back out through the same side we entered. Climbing Cadillac Hill with the super low gearing was nice. I REALLY need to get a rear locker on this thing asap. The only time I had issues on the trail was getting the rear hung up because I only had on tire spinning.

I'll post more pictures once I get them from the few that are heading home today.

As you can see, Old Sluice was all wet. It made things much more difficult.
