I just finished inspecting an LC I'm getting ready to purchase here in Saudi (I'm American). I was asked to post pics of the OEM Winch. This winch is not mechanical. It is electrical as seen after taking the covers off.

Very interesting. Is that front piece just a cover for the roller fairlead? I presume that plug is for the controls, do you have a picture of that?

I love the 100 series LC body. Here in Saudi about 10 to 15 percent of the cars are a variant on the LC wether it be a Prado or large land cruiser.

Thanks for the pics... was just about to fabricate a mount using the stock bumper and nice to see how the factory did it... I build to my ability and the capacity of the tools I have, I refer to it as DOS... design on site
