Mine sits at 175 or so. Replaced thermostat 2yrs ago, temp probe in the upper rad hose aluminum fitting.

You know, once you convert to manual, the motor will run more efficiently while driving and take longer to warm up.
down here where is no cold at all .. my 1HD-T runs at 174F normally ... hot it's 184 and cold it's 164 ..
