Deep Watercrossings in 70s (1 Viewer)

It was bull**** deep and fast, but that was the easiest crossing, we were locked in the valley by rivers. Since the morning the rivers had risen about 30cm, the longer we waited the deeper they got, other option was to wait it out for a few days till they went down.

pretty cool but it looked like a bit of panic happening.
relax, it is only water. a nice bow wave works wonders.
i have been half way up the windshield at a steady crawl with no issues.
if you stop remember water can get between the clutch disc and the flywheel so don't be sitting with the clutch engaged. also if the engine stops you will have water coming back up the exhaust and could enter into the engine through the exhaust valve and intake valve. you will also end up with water possibly into the turbo on low mounted turbos (1HZ, HDT, 1PZ)
as for the clear water crossing back a couple posts, if you were moving and not stopped slim chance of contamination.
