I'm redoing the wire loom on my 1982 Forty Series.
I have been able to find plugs, sockets, spade terminals and the flex conduit. Even found a supplier of the right color wire.
But the bulk head grommet has got me beat.

Any ideas were I can get?
Any leads most welcome.
Or photos of other solutions.
Cheers

There is a seller on eBay COUNTRYCRUISER. The sell used parts from junk land cruisers they have. Id ask them. Search FJ 40 manifold on eBay. They are selling some. That would allow you to message them from their ad.
I hope that helps.

Try fjparts.com.
Search firewall grommet. They show a wiring loom grommet on the passenger side. I'm not sure if that's the one.

Kruisinkid Yes it a 2F right hand drive.
This is a request from the land down under.

That sheet you posted has some good stuff on it.
There are fittings there I could use.
I agree with micdon. I need to save Beno page but also need Beno contact.

Beno (Ih8mud avatar name) is a loyal Cruiser wizard, works as a part mgr. for a Toyota dealer based in the Atlanta, Georgia, USA region, that takes care of us 'mudders by finding obscure LC parts, selling them to us at a 25% discount with extremely low (domestic US) shipping rates.

What would be helpful is the vehicle diagram so you reference the 26-50 number to a location on the vehicle. I assume there is a 1-25 picture as well. This would be great FAQ with complete information.

I wholeheartedly agree, however, the Toyota parts website (http://www.villagetoyotaparts.com/) doesn't appear to feature the location key for this range (1980 up) like it does for older years.

As far as copying and pasting all that into a FAQ, it may be best to refer to that website directly to avoid any squabbles about copyrights, etc.

Hi all
Thank you for the help
The latest on this rubber seal as I have been told it's not a grommet .
The problem being it's not a spare part and its part of the wire loom.
The next part of the problem is to fit you have to remove the pins from the plugs so you can feed the wires through the seal. I have the tools to do this.
My hunt has lead to China were a wire loom manufacture tells me he has something very similar .
This company makes the black flexible loom covering plus wire colored to what Toyota use and has a good range of plugs and sockets that fit the 40 style loom.
The only problem is you need a Chinese speaking / writing person to do the dealing with this company as very little English is spoken .
Lucky I have one of these persons and as a bonus can speak Chinese at a technical level.
If successful I will post photos.
In saying that if not successful Mudders please keep looking.
Cheers
