Your thoughts on side ladders?

Yeah, mine are from nakman. They’ve held up well. Here I am at the squeeze. Fit even with the rotopax mounted.

I open the sliding rear window and step on the tire and then the window sill. Built in ladder, no extra weight.

I came in here to post what Tim @nakman referred to. You don't want to mount it to the bumper and the roof rack or the bumper and the body. The body and the frame move independently and that would be a recipe for disaster (I imagine cracking off your roof drip rail or something like that).

Definitely looks cool, but for the potential downsides and engineering challenges, I think finding space for a collapsible ladder when needed is a more practical option.

yeah something that slides out from under the roof rack would be pretty cool. Or maybe a telescoping ladder...

I forgot about the door steps. I have one in the center console and it works a treat.
