So if it was t for a hurricane inconveniencing me…I’d have my thoughts on the turbo kit with my
Truck set up…however…given that no gas stations have had gas since Milton came to visit has put a crimp in that plan…
That said I have most of the interior reinstalled now and added a universal washer bottle along with an autometer boost gauge…
Soon as gasoline is available I’ll be posting my thoughts
Truck has been running great…turbo kit works awesome, had an exhaust flow issue…fixed now.
Just rebuilt rear hubs and done an oil change…very happy with performance currently.
New roller bearing spindles and new Rcv bifs…to replace my 8 year old Rcv birds which have now developed clinking noises…they look fine…so don’t know.
Also removed rear seat, for this
A place for everything and nothing to bounce around in the trail…
Still running great…turbo making the truck feel more modern on the highways…added kingpin lighting in the interior with red and white illumination…been patrolling properties in bone dry florida …truck is close to perfect for my needs…FMIC and exhaust still needs to happen and maybe a lick of paint.
Amazing to think this journey stared 14 years ago…
Just a small piece of thin aluminum right angle slid between the dash and the console. The d vhb tape holding the head mount to it…been solid since install years ago.
Well wouldn’t you know it…damn toyota….
Nothing wrong with it at all…just has a thirst for premium gas but is as reliable as can be…super happy with it so far…in the future I can see a Dakota digital dash along with a haltech ecu and larger injectors paired up with my fmic that I’m still waiting for…that will probably conclude most of the hard work into this thing…
And once again proving to the world that I hate money more than mud…
New ecu, plug and play harness, coilpacks, DD rtx dash, associated modules…4 more items will round out this collection of parts…fuel pump, injectors electronic boost controller and my FMIC kit…
