Yet another Barn Find-FOR SALE FJ40

My buddy just came back from Oregon with a cruiser he pryed from an older DR. up in Oregon. He was doing some work for this guy, and happen to walk by his barn with a gem inside. He said it took some convincing to get the guy to sell, but yeah, he bought it mainly to make me cry.

He knows the bezel is upside down, because a board member here drove some 70 miles or so just to check it out.

Did I mention it has only 56,000 miles on it.

Not my place to say what he payed for it, but it was a good deal, and if he were to flip it (not that he is going to), I think he could make a quick 8-10k.

Even the back up light looks good. Radio works, interior light works. He half knew about these things only because of mine. Beginners luck. Trying to get him here on mud, but he and computers no like each other.

His plan is to bring it back over in a week or so, to do a good tune up. Then just drive it. Also trying to get him to drive it up to pismo.

The only mod he is considering is electronic ignition.

So, I was wrong. Looks like this cruiser is looking to be flipped.

The owner is desperate to get into a house while this is a good buyers market, and is now entertaining the idea of flipping this thing.

Please shoot me an IM, and I can get you in contact with the owner, and you can take it from there. I will not be involved in any transactions, except the original contact point.

I asked the owner if I could do this, to give you all a shot at this thing first, as soon as I heard he was thinking about selling it.

He is currently asking 17k, but don't be afraid to make an offer. Clean title in the current owners name.
Weather stripping is in good condition, window felt is in good condition, as stated was in a barn.

I will ask a mod to push this thread over to the for sell area.
