Those heaters should be pretty easy to find. Guessing other vehicles used them. Toyota made a deal with Eaton to sell these heater to their dealers here in the US. These are generic heaters. The outside air kit was made just for these and very hard to find. The Nippon-Denso heater may have been factory installed but those were still a generic heater but made in Japan by a vendor who provided parts used on the Land Cruiser.

Does your windshield have defrost vents? While a factory designed and install heater was a few years away Toyota started install defrost vents during 62.

My windshield frame does not have defrost vents and does not appear to have ever had them. My firewall has a square dirty spot where the Eaton heater used to be which is why i chose to use the eaton. (Living in the past) what is the outside air kit? Is this something mine would have had? Thanks for the replys
