all three are bullet holes.

one was there when I got it.
one day I went shootin with my buddy. he has terrible aim and nailed my door. fortunately the window was up.
and then i shot the third after he did, cause i liked the way it looked

good news and bad news this weekend.

my computer is done for. I am on the Mac. cant load any video or pics, this thing does not have a photo program. well I think. this mac is waaaaay different than a lame PC.

lots of progress.

got the tranny all torn down, inspected, its good. slapped in in there. I left the T case off, and just bench pressed it in. thats how I get all of the truck trannys in and out. beats fallin off the jack.

I double checked all the fluids, put some oil down the spark plug holes, and fired er up. that engine has not run in three years. I aint kiddin, that thing must have made less than a single crank, and it fired right up.

have not got the exhaust all the way on, just the straight pipe off the hedder. OH, FAWK!!!! that sounds SOOO good!. I just LOVE a strait piped 22R.

and the BEST part of all, I got power steering. Oh, baby!! power steering!!!

also I put some FJ rotors in place of my lame solid ones, yanked the weenie calipers off there, (one was partially siezed anyway) and stole the V6 calipers off my 89. Also cut that measly backing plate off. would have worked with out it, but I am done with that mud and rock holder.

well the good part is no more weenie brake system, BUT the calipers are so much wider, now my wheels wont fit. so i took a griner to it, and took off just a little bit, but it aint enuff. i need some spacers. I was hoping to get it back on the ground, case I wanted to swap out the IFS' rear axle and put in the meatmobile. Oh well.

just slapped some washers on the front studs, shaved a little off the caliper and its all good.

I got the IFS rear slapped in there. The diff that was in there is a open V6 4.10 Cool!!!

Had a broken front brake line. I jacked the one off the turbo truck. was pretty close to my 80's.
got er all bled out.

sweeeeeet

And now, the best news of all...

I took er on the somewhat MADIEN VOYAGE!
you have no idea how excited I am. Had a damn perma-grin for the last hour since I drove it.

That power steering is soooo nice.

Perhaps the best part of all is the power steering.
:D

It ran and drove nicer than ever before. I am so excited!!!

DONE

:grinpimp:

i got a few minor things to but, not now

the little things you do when you aint got nothin left to do

Wouldn't an Iron Maiden Voyage be more your style? :D Glad to hear your making progress!!!!

Yeah no doubt! one of those scary skeleton things they use on thier covers would be cool to paint. Or i could affix a bucnh of spikes on the inside of the bed and roll bar, for a true iron maiden!

I would reallly consider chopping the rest of your body that hangs down below the bumper

I really dont want to. So far, in the last few years I have owned this, I have not had a problem. If the event occors that it prevents me from apporaching something, or they get all mangled, I will cut it off.

I really like this body style, and will do what ever I can to not cut it up. Trail damage is wayyyy cooler than shop damage, if ya know what I mean

I know exactly what you mean, unless you and your dad lift up the side of your mini to put a rock under the tire to get the extra inch of clearance and your door buckles inward from the pressure you put on it! :whoops:

This weekend was the first time I took er out and drove it for a long ways.

A few minor snags; fuel filter got really clogged, oil seal gave out on the front axle, rear drive shaft needs to be shortened.

:meh:

thanks mang!!!

I get so many looks. and people are always stopping and complimenting me on it. Thats awesome. I think its the lack of real 4x4's in this God forsaken town. But it is a cool truck :grinpimp: I get waves from everyone. even biker gangs!

this pic gives me an idea. how cool would it be to have glow in the dark paint foe the skull?! awesome!

and this truck is still along ways from being done. i need a fuel pump (external, NOT in tank) and i need to make the driveshafts.
all i really need is money. i am BROKE. literally. i paid rent today, and im flat broke!

Why not go beyond glow in the dark. Use an electroluminescent panel. Either get one that is cutable to shape, or use an masking layer to set the light pattern.

Here are a couple of places that sell them. Prices are a bit expensive. You need a panel and inverter plus wiring.
Large Electroluminescent Panels and Strip Lamps - LED Panels - LUMINOUSFILM.COM --USA
Electro Luminescence Inc

I used electroluminescent panel - Google Search to dredge the above sites up. No experience with them.

Just put red led's in the eyes

Anti Honda league goes way back.
I made those stickers. I distributed them all over town.
I was gonna have em say Anti Tuner Leauge. But 2 T's just didnt fit.

That's one of the funnyest things i've heard in a while...you know those GREDDY stickers add 12 HP
