nope. if the spring was a wet noodle, then maybe it could bend forward. how could it go forward other wise?

besides when I took those pics those springs had zero miles on them.

Now its been about 400 miles and they are beginning to soften. And the shackles are getting the right angle.

I'm sure your setup is fine... ...The end of the spring does move back and forth... otherwise you would need no shackles at all! With a shackle almost paralell to the spring there will be less downflex... and at max the shackles could flip around and fold the other way.. And that IS why they make anti-inversion shackles..:)

got stickers made up...

i wanted it to have the same type of font the misfits use. they got it from an old magazine called famous monsters.

so i drew it up like i wanted and took it to a sign place called sign on

they charged me 26 bucks for 4 stickers. damn good price. damn fine stickers. exactly like i wanted.

I posted a pic of the III coat of arms that I painted on the side of my bed on shelton's myspace. He added it to his army of artists album and said "hell yeah, one of a kind. full on respects man" ;)

I dig the dash, burnouts rule too :grinpimp:.

"American Nightmare" in that same font would look cool, but I guess a truck can't have two names.

damn thats a awesome idea!

but it is and will remain the meatmobile :D

thanks a lot :D

my truck turns all kind of heads. it really surprised me. i didnt think anyone would care so much about a rusty ol pos toyota. i get many waves and hollers

dude my totally non built 83 toyota turns heads and instigates conversation at the gas station every time. The body style is the best, period. But your truck is phenomenal, and inspires pirates off the coast of Africa taboot.
