Hi all,

I just received my replacement cup holders but am unsure how to remove the stock holder (if you even remove it)...? I know I need to at least remove the folding lid/cover.

Didn't see any instructions on their website...

Thanks in advance!

You just grab it and yank up. It pops right out.

It may take a decent amount of force, but it does pull out.

Just pull straight up on the lid? Its all one big piece?
Yeah. Mine was really tight to the point I was concerned I was going to break it pulling it out, but it came out in one piece. The BH3D replacement has worked out really well.

Just used the cup holder insert from Brad on a nearly 1000 mile round trip drive up the CA coast. What a saving grace. These little creature comforts make a big difference for my family.

Only wish I had received the CarPlay mod before we headed out of town.

I got the BH3D unit too. It's awesome. Looks factory, and the cupholders do what they are supposed to do: hold cups (or cans/bottles).

kudos to BH3D but I was a little disappointed with the fit and finish for $80+ cupholders. You can see some roughened areas that needed to be sanded down and finished with a little bit more elbow grease.

They were pretty responsive to my concerns and did give me a small discount for me to go to the hardware store purchase grit paper and flat black paint to get it to 100%.

Had similar issues on the BH3D cupholder - rough and actually some "jitter" in the printing causing ridges in the compartments. I emailed and they took care of it immediately. Very good customer service.

The first unit should not have been shipped out - it was pretty bad. An improvement in their QC process before shipping would serve them well.

55s ain't got no cup holders. we get by.

Installed the cheaper BH3D inserts. They're functional, not super refined, but worth the cheaper price I think. I like that the lid can still close with these.

Mine is super ruff as well, not smooth at all. Maybe I should toss him a PM
