Dragging this back to the top. I’m about to order wiper blades for my 2016 LC and need to make sure I’m getting the right ones. I’ve searched the Toyota parts online store, and the two part numbers referenced by KLH above both come up as an exact match for my vehicle, but they are BOTH listed as LEFT on the site.
Part #’s I’m talking about:
85222-42110 left front per KLH and also Toyota parts online
85222-53071 right front per KLH, but listed as left front in Toyota parts online

If I plug my vehicle into their search feature I get completely different part numbers for both left and right. I would appreciate any guidance. Thanks

Go to post 259 in this thread for full blade or just the insert part numbers. I use just the inserts; they last a long time if you get these good ones.

Those are the part numbers that the Toyota parts site claims are both for the left side of the windshield. I assume the parts online site is wrong…I’ll order them & see what happens. Thanks

This is what I always order every spring, I keep them in an Amazon list for quick ordering:

Left: Amazon.com: Toyota Genuine Left Hand Rubber Windshield Wiper Blade : Automotive - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CIA1YD2?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_3
Right: Amazon.com: Toyota Genuine Rubber Wiper Blade Insert : Automotive - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IEJDD3A?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_4

They show up in an official-looking Toyota-labeled parts counter baggie, so I assume they are legit.

As a parts counterman for a toyota dealer i can tell you the oem blades are the best. I have a 2010 lx570 and have tried toyota sightline blades which are cheaper then then original factory blades and they suck. Noisy after several months. I put oem blades on a year and a half ago and they are still perfect never made a peep. As far as inserts I can tell you we dont carry them and will not order them. Toyota makes us order a minimum order which is quite a lot of inserts that we will maybe sell 2 a year. You are driving an expensive vehicle so pony up for the oem wipers and you won't be disappointed

This is exactly what my 2 local dealers told me when I tried to buy inserts.

Add them to a larger order from one of the big parts sites. They will have them.

This is what I do. Dealers who do a really large on-line parts business must sell lots of inserts so they order them to stock.

Yep. Plus I generally also order 2 or 3 full sets so I'm only having to deal with it every couple years.

Other things in the same category:

FWIW - the dealer will replace the whole blade and holder with the "Sightline" because they are cheaper and faster to install than the inserts. So most customers are happy. I was pissed when they did that cause they tossed the OEM holders which use the inserts. So I had to buy a whole new assembly. Like others I have a stock of inserts for my vehicles. Once I replace the current ones I order a new set.

what is the part number for the blade themselves? bought a '19 and someone swapped out the blades for aftermarkets. I loved the oem's on my gx
