My strip is defintely buried in the 'gap'; not protruding. see pic. Could be the culprit. Not really sure. Can't tell from any stock photos or posted images. And unable to find any associated OEM part #.

Don’t take this as gospel as there are a few build date splits but 75531-60050 is one of them.

I posted about the sunroof noise long ago, its an issue for me when tilt closed and not slide closed.
Its a seal surround issue and replaceable, the relearn procedure i posted in the OG thread did not fix my issue.
Its probably very common and probably contributing a lot to fouling of the sunroof drains.

CCN did a video on how it should be done on youtube. Its a bit finicky and I need to do it at some point.

For collective benefit, here is a pic of mentioned thin rubbertstrip (gasket?) on my 2011LC. Maybe this is the culprit?

Here are better (hopefully) photos of mine, on a 2013 LX 570. I don't know the history of the window, but it is Lexus glass.

Looks like there is a seal there but it looks different than @berko1's photo. The orange/brown is slim. The back face of the glass is visible.
