Did you ever measure your cable? Inquiring minds want to know. Ever photograph the tranny end of it?
I suspect that's not an actual Toyota part - the Toyota dealers are asking a LOT more, but it sure looks like it would work.I picked up 35520-35230 for under $30 on eBay. It's for a T100 / 4Runner / early Tundra. It's longer than A441 and A343 cables at 154mm - 60". Any thoughts on this an option for the A343 transmission? The bag doesn't look OE but I do see this is available from Toyota dealers.

I may try to dry fit it in place and see if routes okay. I wouldn't mind buying an OEM version. My local dealer has it priced at $120 with their online / pickup pricing. It's missing what I assume is a heat shield on the original cable for the 95+ but the cable end measurements are identical. Not sure about the plastic piece on the transmission side.I suspect that's not an actual Toyota part - the Toyota dealers are asking a LOT more, but it sure looks like it would work.
Yeah, for the price, it's almost worth it just to test fit!I may try to dry fit it in place and see if routes okay. I wouldn't mind buying an OEM version. I am actually more surprised I am finding aftermarket kickdown cables for older 4Runner/Tacoma/Tundra trucks.
They couldn't have done a better job at making it look fake. But interesting. I don't think the extra length should matter too much. Keep us posted.I picked up 35520-35230 for under $30 on eBay.
