I got this in a email.

I think it answers your question rather nicely!

The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

Don't accept your dog's admiration as conclusive evidence that you are wonderful.

If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.

There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.

A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves
himself.

IF you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your
pocket and then give him only two of them.

This is a dog that followed me home on Australai day 26th Jan this year.
She stunk of catfood and when I patted her a dark oil mess stuck to my hand.

I have since named her Matilda and has a become such a part of my life I dont know what it would be like without her.
She seems to be pedigree Staffordshire bull terrier about 3-4 years old.

When I get the cruiser out she knows its wheeling time and gets so excited will bark and whine non stop till I tell her to shutup:D
She is a real chick magnet but wont even stop to talk with strangers if Im around.

She always sits in the drivers seat when I am out of the vehicle and moves over as soon as I come to the door.

In the bottom pic she is watching me clean an aircon pump thats for sale;)

What dog.....that sonobitch left a long time ago.....he got loose and never came back.

I saw a USA Today poll a few months back that asked would owners give up their dog for a million dollars tax free cash. Only 40% said yes. That says a lot about how much people really love their dogs.

It is weird that people complain about PAYING $500 for a dog before they get attached, considering the above.

my pups

I need a new pic. this one has been posted many times.

Like Potato Chips...can't have just one!

I did dog rescue for 8 years, and these are the leftovers that no one either wanted, wanted to deal with, or would take home.

I love my dogs because they will always love me!

Ohhhh...you have a Landseer...very ncie dogs! Cooper is a doll! I rescued one of the the pound here once and he was a fantastic dog!

I love my dog becasue he is, well, himself. He is funny as s***, smart, but getting deaf which only increases the amusment factor with him. Gonna get another boxer when I lose this one...

My 9 yr old Lab has become a stalker. I can't go to the fridge without him on my heels, i go for a pee at 4am and he follows, always has to be in eye shot.
If i leave the house he will go from window to window barking and looking for me, if i am spotted he goes fxxxing ape s*** and will not stop barking for anything. It's sad cause we can't take him camping if we plan on riding as he won't shut up.

Thanks Wayne. Here are a couple I took last week:

All are rescues

All five dogs we have are rescues. 4 were starving to death. 1 had heartworms. All dogs unwanted, but we couldn't live without them now. We have 455 pounds of dogs living in our house, with one still growing. We buy some dog food around here. Only organic though, because of my wife. I could have a new Proffitts Cruiser if not for these dogs. But I wouldn't trade them for it.

First pic.
14 year old with 8 month old Great Dane sleeping.

Second Pic

Same two dogs fighting over a hat.

Third Pic
