Trying out a set of round NOS Bosch fogs I had stashed away. Instructions are dated 1987, so they are period correct! Required making some custom mounting brackets.
What you guys think? (compared to my square IPFs)

Couple of pics from this past weekend.
First one was nothing but a glamour shot. Turned out beautiful!

Second one was a shot my wife snapped. One happy Landcruiser owner!

This is Lucy guarding the Cruiser.

Always like to see your pics. Great lookin' rig. I like your co-pilot, too.

Got me an A-pillar grab handle. One of the things I missed most about my 62. Got around to installing it today!
I didn't get too technical with location. I just put it up there and marked the holes.

Then I drilled

I went with the Tap method. I went to Harbor Freight and bought a nutsert kit, After looking at it I was leery of using it.
It was a big hole to drill for a poor quality nutsert. So, back to the hardware store I went to get a tap. If it fails,
I can always drill a bigger hole and get a quality insert elsewhere.

Installed! Wish my screw caps were in better condition, but I'll find some more sometime. Just happy to have a driver's
grab handle!

Did you just tap the sheet metal or is there something more substantial behind there?

Just the sheet metal, but it's pretty stout. Stout enough for my little ass anyways.

Your rig looks great! I saw you put on a Wheelskins steering wheel cover a while back, how have you liked it? How's the look, feel, and durability? Thanks.

I love it! The quality it top notch! Fit & finish is factory quality! Feels great. I would give it an A plus and highly recommend.

Thanks! I was thinking I needed to replace my wheel, since it's cracked in a few places, until I saw your post. I think I'll be saving a little money now. :steer:

Took some more pics today1 Just can't stop. Truck is photogenic!
Digging my new grab handle!

Took the Cruiser over to the exhaust shop yesterday and had them reroute my exhaust to a side exit and put on a stainless tip. Had this done on my 62' when I owned it. No real reason other than I like the look of the side exit better and the stainless tip dresses things up a bit. I like shiny things.

Couple more random photos…

Superior Carr, you bet!

Posted in the camping section, but though I'd put pic's here too. Took the family 4th of July camping along with some friends.
Good times!

Front speakers quit working. Time to lube window tracks and upgrade speakers anyway. Let's tear apart a dash. (Again!)
