Where to Eat!

Let this thread know when you plan to be there. Maybe some of us can meet you / join you for lunch.

I will post up, but timing will be kind of up in the air. In my perfect world it would be around 12:30 or 1, but it will depend on how long it takes to get everything loaded and strapped down.

if you are coming this saturday, that's perfect. we will have plenty of space...we share a large lot with the adjacent grocer.....

Finally made it to Lou's last night with the wife. She had been angling for a date night, originally she wanted to go out to Livingston, but I countered with Lou's. Food was excellent. Oyster appetizer was great. Wife got the short ribs (rissoto was cooked perfectly), I got the D'Luxe burger (what a burger, best part was it was so tall the wife didn't think she could take a bite so I didn't have to share), then we couldn't decide on dessert so she got the choclate problems and I got the Tiramisu. Excellent meal. Asked our waiter, who I assume may have been the bar manager about Lou's Lexus outside, got to talking about the club and Nolan, then back to the line to speak to Lou for a minute. Great evening, great food, great service, great place.

that was bobby....as nolen mentioned, he is full of it....and then some.....never met a guy who embellishes as much as he does, but he cares about what we do and that is a good thing!

That place has changed alot since 1988.
I use to work 3 blocks from there. It was still a grocery store then with plate lunches and crawfish in season. I bought 20 pounds of bugs for my guys at work. None of them had ever had them.

Another blue plate special at Taqueria del Sol. Low country fried chicken with heavy cream gravy and mashed potatoes. Sriracha garnish.

Oh damn, double dipping today, Taqueria del Sol again for dinner. Kitty called and said she wanted tacos at home so she could get a jump start in her studio. Quickest way to get service is to skip the line and go straight to the bar. I texted her that I was gonna sit down and eat and then order to go from the bar. The line to order food is always out the door so I execute the plan. Got the weekly seafood special, Tilapia (Pecan) Pesto.

So I asked my daughter who turns 3 Friday, where she wanted to go to dinner for her birthday. Her response..."I want to go to Lou's"...and my son chimed in..".ooohhhh yeah that is where we get bread pudding" I guess I'm doing something right. See you Friday night @under_psi and I hope you still have the bread pudding.
