We went to Table 100 last night and had lamb shank. It was beyond good.

Many years ago I had the "opportunity" to spend some time in Turkey on Uncle Sam. Lamb is a big part if their diet and I enjoyed it very much. I wish it was more available over here. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with JT.
If you are ever within 50 miles of Las Tortugas in Germantown and you don't go get a crab Tortuga just let me assure you that you are eating the wrong meal.

Better than what I had at Pacific Rim.
Just gobbled down a crab torta at Las Tortugas. Amazing good sammich. Not certain it's $22 good, but pretty effing good. Call me mildly moist. Would probably be soaking wet if my wallet hadn't been punched in the gut.
Had the fish (steelhead trout) tacos at Elwood's Shack last night. Dem's mighty good eats too. $7.

Not to compare with Las Tortugas, but the fish tacos (and now shrimp tacos, though I haven't tried them yet), at Elwood's is completely worth the visit. You'd dig the place.
Speaking of lamb, a buddy of mine from starkville marinates lamb shanks in a combination of Hoover sauce and something else and grills like a filet. Melt in your mouth fine.

Thats on my side of town. Its good stuff, nothing fancy but I eat in there often. Also Heart and Soul cafe is behind my office. Great brisket sandwich and fried softshell crab sandwich.
