It's a California thing for me. I really love them, but if they were here (or in your case, Dallas) it would not be as big of a deal.

It's like 5 Guys....the new wore off that immediately here for me.

Now if we had Taco Cabana.......

Gonna be in New Orleans for Spring Break. I have not been here since right before Katrina.
Kids are in tow so suggestions on food? Where is good place for Oysters? I am on a budget so
affordable suggestions would be great,

Are you staying in the Quarter? CBD?

My favorite dinner place in the Quarter that won't break the bank is The Palace Cafe.

Lunch or breakfast at Stanley's in Jackson SQ

Breakfast....The Grill on Charters just off Jackson Square. Breakfast second choice and good bar is Lucy's Retired Surfer's bar in Warehouse District they open at 10.

If you want hole in the wall you've got to experience the fried chicken at Willie Maes Scotch House and of course Port of Call for burgers.

If you find your way down Magazine Street, my favorite Oysters and Fried Shrimp are at Cassamento's. Cash only. Awesome. Do this on zoo day

My rule in NO......never wait in line. Never eat in a chain. Never go to Cafe DuMonde for breakfast....too many jackasses.

Coming into or leaving town stop at Harbor Seafood in Kenner. It's the best food in town. Cheap.

Thanks, great lost. Staying in the quarter with wife and two kids. Almost didn't make it cuz we forgot to save a site for dog at border. Thank god for the 200 lbs G Dane that bit the owner and got thrown out.

Should we do zoo and aquarium? What about a kid friendly place for music? Anybody ever done a swamp tour?

Swamp tour ok this time if year. Some activity and bit too hot.

Both are great as is the Insectarium. Do all 3

Skip cemetary tour and just walk the one in Uptown by Commanders Palace.

Walk them down Bourbon in the daylight. It's safe and funny before it gets stupid.

The WWII museum is the best attraction in NOLA. At the very least do Beyond All Borders movie.

Start them and they will want to see the rest. Especially new new pavillion. Unreal.

Yeah that damn sure ain't on the diet! Damn!
