Yes, the steelies use acorn style lug nuts, the alloys use a mag washer style lug not. You can pick up the acorn style just about anywhere. About the only place you will find the correct mag washer style are the dealership or somewhere online.

I am seriously considering ditching my Bushwackers and seeing if my fabricator can create something like this for my truck. I am at least going to get some quotes.

yes, what Layton said. FWIW, when i had the 4runner, I made it a point to always pull the lug nuts off the 4runners at pull a part so I have a nice jar full of them if anyone ever needs some in a pinch. they will work just fine on the FJ since they are the short shank ones.

As for the acorn nuts, make sure you check to see if you need the shoulder type or not. My procomp rims needed the shoulder type. I think the steel wheels require them.

These are the ones I ordered yesterday from Wheelers. My concern is that they will not be here by Tuesday.

I guess what I mean to say is I want to see if he is willing and what he will charge me. I am sure he can do it but it might cost me a fortune and if it's rediculously expensive I will not do it, at least not yet. I think because of our working relationship that he will be the cheapest guy I can get to do it and still get a quality product.

Changed the oil. Had to mangle the filter to get it out and no room to work with in there. Realized as I was changing it that it has been a year and only 1000 miles since the last oil change. Added some Lucas Stop Leak to see if I can slow the leaks down. That s*** is like molasses........ :meh:

Jonas I really like the idea of the tubing. But a exocage that forms a roof rack would be awesome that's my plan once it leaves dd status

I got the stereo problem in my truck finally worked out. Also cleaned out a few things. Will be working on the shelf and greasing everything tomorrow. Monday I'll be getting out all the camping gear and prepping it for the trip. Also gotta make salsa for the trip. Can't go wheeling without SALSA!!!

I'm so ready to make it to Superlift.

no swing outs yet ran out of time plus not sure what all I want to put back there & in what order

Finished up the bumper yesterday and got it all reinstalled. I also fabbed up a mount for the high lift on the roof rack. I think it all turned out nicely.

More pics in my build thread.

So, is this the 120 thing I keep reading about. Wow, I like it. Is that equivalent to the lc120 padro, or the 4 runner Lexus version? Size wise

I like it regardless.
