Actually, 4th gen's have this ghey little push button for 4wd. Thats why, when/if I 4wd swap I'm getting an FJ transfer case

Learned my one thing for today, thank you sir.

Talking about roof racks. Jumped right in to removing my roof rack and we strip the last screw :bang: just called Our sponsor (Charles is not there today) and parts says that they do not make hardware kits anymore unless I buy the whole roof rack, so he said to try topper world.

I'll go to ace and try other hardware, but does anyone have old hardware laying around they want to sell or any other know solutions.

We had a black metal shutter job, so I figured why stop. Should have taken the time to build a makeshift spray booth, but once I get something on my head I have to do it. A few bugs will be permanently keeping me company from now on, but that's okay.

I believe the 5th gens trail editions have the actual shifter lever, but the non trail editions have the button 4x4 switch. IIRC.

Changed rotors, brake pads, and cleaned and repacked front bearings hubs friday night. Messy and not so fun.
The amount of work you would need to do in order to fix a broken stud on the front of the 100 is a LOT of work. The same level as changing rotors, which requires removal of the hub and separating the hub from the disk to get to the lug. Its a good thing they are much beefier at 14mm.

Saw Renaldy's FJ on the interstate this morning. Was looking great all stealthy.

didn't do much on my FJ this weekend, but did alittle welding on Kevin's FJ. I think we are in better shape this time with the welds. Also while the welder was out, we fabbed up an exhaust baffle for my friends miata.
