Kevin said he is sending you a big EHEO oval logo to put on the side of that FJ.
I've been waiting by the mailbox for 2 weeks, and yet nothing. I would wrap the FJ w/ the EHEO logo if you paid for it. :) When y'all are ready to move into the Mountain market, you know I'll be here!
And I was just thinking I didn't see a LLK sticker on there but that's one hell of a Pandora decal........

I had 4 LLK stickers on the FJ until I took everything off in Moab. Then Sean came over with the door stickers. I'll help promote him for all the help he has been for me.

There are a couple LLk ones in there...

replaced my ALL PRO rear with the Expedition One swing-out. Installed everything yesterday including putting the all pro on Brad's rig. Putting the Lights in the bumper was PITA (it took us 4 hours to figure out how to mount 2 lights) but we made a bracket that works perfectly. the lights in the bumper are Hella Optilux LEDs. I had to saw off a foot or so from my all pro high clearance exhaust to make it work with the ex one bumper mounts, and i bought a turn-down exhaust tip that i put on the end after i sawed it off. the bumper/swing-out were extremely easy to mount. i think the bumper took and hour to mount, and the swing out was around an hour too. i really love the quality of this bumper and how well it fits on the FJ. much better than the ALL PRO. and i have beefy shackle mounts finally. also ordered an L-bracket, another 2 gal gas container, and a locking extension from Rotopax that will be mounted to the swingout arm.

Looks great Jason. Now you don't have to worry about those side pulls on the rear shackles any longer......

And 4 hours to mount 2 lights?? Did ya'll ever get to that  moment where it all just came together?

yes we did. we tried about 10 different mounting options, none of them worked (we thought) we ended up trying option #2 again after 4 hours, and it worked perfectly.

Hodges. I really like that. These Fjc's are really starting to grow on me. Who knows there may be a 40 for sale soon.

do it!

So, while Claudia is away, a little progress on the '80...
Waiting for a 90° fitting to mount the air chuck for access thru the rear sliding window.

Nice setup

It's the tire carrier / compressor mount made by ToolsRUs in AZ. Power is from a 6g cable fused with 60A near the battery. I'm mulling over whether I want (need?) a rack for one water and one fuel can, rather than just using the mounts for the 3rd row seats.

Do the 80 series folks really carry fuel cans in the rig? Seems like you would always be smelling fuel in there. :meh:
No, they don't. They hang the cans on the back bumper, together with another 500lbs of stuff... :)

I, however, intend to carry the cans inside when necessary. I've been through Death Valley, and across the Camino del Diablo, with fuel cans IN the truck (my K5, that is...) and never had a problem with fuel vapors.

I've also had a carrier on the bumper on the back of the K5 (which will remain my primary 'wheeling truck, despite the '80 here...). From those 6 years, I can say I'm so done with a tire or fuel carrier getting in the way when I want to access the back of the truck.

Understood. Not having a closed cabin wheeler, I would have thought that the smell of vapors would be in the cabin but I understand your point. Having said that, I have a single swingout on the 40 with a double jerry can basket.

I find the bigger issue re fuel smells is usually the spout and some gloves that got in contact with fuel that I need to store somewhere after using a can.
I plan on using a siphon hose, so storing that after use will be an issue. I'm thinking tupperware will work... :hillbilly:

And I got the brass fittings for the air chuck.
Plus, see my anti-autoengage device for the compressor... :)
It's easy to kick that lever over, BTDT on the K5. Nothing worse than the compressor suddenly kicking on while you're on the highway at night...

Finished the install of my Dirty Parts battery tray today and added an Odyssey battery. Controlling the aux battery with an IBS dual battery system w/ RBM module. This should be enough to keep my beer cold for days in my ARB freezer :)

Just need to wire up the fuse panels tomorrow. Originally planned to have one 12-way fuse panel on switched 12v up front and a 6-way constant 12v in the rear area. Now thinking about a second constant 12v up front to simplify my life later and minimize the need to run power wires under the floor.
