Is rain wet? Good looker...More pics. Like the front seats.

I wonder what car those front seats came from? They look great and very clean.

7B Idaho plates?

Is that in the Sandpoint area? If so I might know some people that can take a look. I grew up there.

Ryan

He sent me a bunch more pictures of the rust, I h8 rust and really not into body work even though I have done my share.

I will post them up shortly.

The truck I want is little to no rust and will see little trail use, more a dailey driver slash ski hauling machine which will be on a diet of veggie oil and have a turbo 3b engine with five speed.

Thanks
Rob

Yes it is, thanks.

beautiful!!!!

Ya, I think so, I have needed a project for some time and would like to minimize the rust repair, but not against it either.

Im a cheap cruiser head, what do you guys think of this rig at 3750.00us?

It has a 327 engine and runs great already?

Thanks
Rob

Rob, you can buy mine. I had it listed in the 55 for sale section a few months ago. Paul

That's a lot of rust. Some could be fixed with replacement parts, like the tailgate and door sills. A sawzall would fix some too. I would be concerned with how the rear body mounts look, the rear door sill does not look good.

My rockers are in better shape. But I bought mine, with comparable rust in the same areas for 5500. came with a tired 350. I'd say your doin' good.

Front floor pans might be good but check the front body mounts - they might need to be replaced.

Rockers need to be cut out and replaced. Use square stock or better yet IPOR rockers/sills.

Rear wheel well lips are gone. Cut 'em off and either fab up new ones or weld back together without the lip.

Rear lower quarter panels need to go. You can just hack these off parallel with the ground.

Rear sill has to be replaced - quite possibly rear body mounts too.

Tailgate needs repair along lower edge.

My Pig looked worse than yours, but you will still have to do the same body work I did.

OTOH, this Pig has a bunch of nice parts still on it. If you like it buy it, but I would be happier personally around $2,500 to $3,000.

Thanks for all the help.

Rust is the last thing I want to deal with and will be talking with 3 puppies about his rig.

I have frame off a few crusier in my day and would rather pull panels strait and paint them welding in new panels.

This rig will see little trail use and will mostly be running up to the mountain with my family on a diet of veggie.
