The passenger low beam is out and I went to replace it when I realized the bulb was sealed. So I looked at the other headlight and it is completely different. So, i need to replace both but should I go back with the original plug and play or upgrade to something with better lighting? Obviously everyone wants better light output, but my concerns are not at the expense of something looking out of place ion a vintage vehicle.

I have a set of h4 visionX housings with Lifetime LED's. Output is wonderful. Check out my build thread and i show how they are installed and light output.

starts on page 7, link should take you there, towards the bottom. I purchased the setup from redline cruisers (awesome guys) Justin over there also has a Pig (or had atleast). Hes the one to talk to.

I'm using the LED Truck-lites, also. Haven't got them wired up, yet. Here's a picture with the beauty rings mounted. Problem with them, is they stick out @ 1/2 inch farther than stock and the beauty ring doesn't match it's mounting holes. You have to move the holes just enough to get the screws started.

I’m running JW Speaker 8700’s and like Scrapdaddy’ Truck-lites they are a bit different than the factory bulbs, I modified my buckets so they would sit flush like the factory bulbs.

I ended up buying and installing the VisionX with LED upgraded bulbs. MUCH MUCH better. Of course the 200 series Lexus I had was by far better with the spread, but i have yet to see an olde car with this type of light quality. I just wish the kelvin temp was a little warmer.

New LED headlamps. Haven't road checked the yet, but the clarity is great with the Hella glass. Total cost is $125
