Skyjacker springs?

Received a package today from @RAGINGMATT at Rising Sun Mechananical. All refurbished or new pull switches and control cables. New ignition cylinder, coded to match the original door locks and all. Along with some toyota swag. As soon as I had the pull switches and control cables installed, I stuck the seats back in place and pulled it out for a drive. A few brake checks and trips around the block I headed to the nearest gas station. First time putting gas in the tank in 4 years, what a good feeling.

WOW! Really nice switches and nice you took her for a walk!

I’ll get ‘lit up’ for this and rightly so...but I AM on a search for a used mig and do have metal patches ready and waiting :grinpimp:

Was wanting to address a crusty rear corner and took the lazy route... It will do for now and it looks better than it did - got a couple of rear reflectors from @Wadesters and felt the area needed....... something before puttin them on!

A ‘Stuff’ net that has come in right handy! :hillbilly:

Nice— where did you get the net?

The net was pilfered from wife’s FJ Cruiser which sadly, was traded in on new to her GX460.... they are maybe around $20 from Toyota IIRC...

Morning Mud -

Goose is getting a refresh to her cooling system! The original hoses were looking a little cracked, figured replace before get stranded. That of course cascaded into the thermostat, housing and all the other goodies.

Broke a few bolts along the way, but turned out fine in the end! Doesn't run any cooler, but I don't have to worry about calling AAA for a two due to a broken hose.

For those following the Project Beer, this was a Deschutes Brewery Mirror Pond Ale, Link With the low 5% alcohol content, I could enjoy several during the project!
