I brushed the snow off the soft top today first time in months that I touched it and it didnt empty my bank account (Do you think it some how knew santa had all my money this month?)

I did too and not a quarter mile later my daughter was snatching it up throwing it in a bag .... So, I did a u-turn back to the store and let her go in and pick out the air freshener...

HAHA That's funny, you gotta love kids!

But my air freshener is our Christmas tree on the roof. I love the smell of pine :)

Thanks, Hobbs

I installed EMU shocks a couple of weeks ago.....

Hi All:

Hey "TurnMeOver," tell us more about the "belly pan." Do you have any photos of it?

Thanks!

Alan

Started the 2 F!

This week I stripped and painted all the radiator mount pieces.

Then I rigged up a hot wire and ground for my carb solenoid, plugged up the vacuum lines and fired her up for the first time since I put the 2F in :bounce::bounce2::bounce::clap::)

Hi All:

"TurnMeOver," thanks for the link. The "belly pan" looks stout!

To post more pics here on MUD spend $20 on a Silver Star (the $$ help support this site.)

Regards,

Alan

It is 3/8 sheet . It is space 1.25 from the frame and protects every thing vital . It goes to the centr of the oilpan then up to the balancer. And yes I lifted the cruiser with it and it only flexed .25 inches. Use a floor jack to install it.

After the holidays I will send in the 20 for a star. Damn this economy.

I picked up my 1970 FJ frame from the frame shop and stripped it down, getting it ready for POR15 or powder coat and ordered alot of new parts.

drove 4 hours round trip to pick up a roll cage and overhead rack with diamond plate for $250. It will need to be modified to fit with a hard top, but couldn't pass up the deal. Will try to post pictures soon. It is now in the driveway and we are supposed to get 12 to 18 inches of snow in the next 24 hours, so it may be buried! Cool Thread!

!

Getting a bit on the chilly side so installed my rear heater from the parts pig. Toasty! Also changed the oil and installed my new dome light with intact switch. Trying to figure out how to pull the steering wheel so I can swap for the much better one out of the parts rig. Any help on technique?

Drived home

Did a little roadtest (470 mile) with my new BJ45...
made a nize deal on a nize truck. almost no rust and just some little things to change..
