Bought my motor. Pulled my clutch and oil pan. Prepping engine for paint

Finished recovering one of my new (to me) jump seats. I love when the wife is out of town, the kitchen island becomes my workbench!

Check with CDan. He sells the factory steelies directly from Toyota for about 90 bucks a pop plus shipping/tax. I just picked up a set of 5 late last year. They will be painted black, not grey, so they won't match your spare, but you can paint them afterwards, or get them powdercoated.

Finishing the rear sill

Kind of cheating because I had some professional help, but I had the rear sill replaced and repainted from quarter panel to quarter panel. I have redone all the interior components like seat brackets, console, rear heater etc while this was being done. Next week I will put it all back together. Even going to send new to me jumps out to powdercoat at the same place as jmdaniel but I doubt I'm re-assembling in the kitchen...:princess: is one hell of a good shot.

I did a couple things to my 40! I turned this transfer case shift handle out on my lathe and engraved the top of it!

I really like to engrave. This is a brass air cleaner cover for a Harley I recently completed.

Fun Day

I did the 2 penny fix and then adjusted my carb for high altitude. Now running at about 13 mpg in stead of 5. :grinpimp:

Then we did a club prerun to make sure the trail was open as we have had so much snow here in Utah this year. Visited Old Ephraim's grave. Check out his story. History of Old Ephraim, Utah

In a couple weeks we should have 10 40's 4 80's maybe 1 100 and there might be a pink panty Lexus show up too.

This is where we will go for the club run in August. Pretty cool place. Sorry bad pun.

Finally trying to get everything put back together. It's a pain with random bolts everywhere, so I have been replacing them with new bolts. Have done a bunch of wiring, replaced starter, cleaned up under the hood a little... and it's too freakin hot!

Hit the rocks and tested out my amazing 36" iroks.

Found out that the new tires I purchased yesterday are over 9 years old and are older than the tires that they replaced...

Still amazing? Did you check the date on the serial number?
