A fair number of TLC 40 series rear heater hard lines have gone the way of the great white Buffalo. I’ve seen some interesting mods done with “soft lines”- . I used a silicon hose as a way around a lack of available hard lines and I’m getting ready to use a MILSPEC soft line on my next plumbing job as well. This time in black (inside funny).😉

Looks nice @Green Bean ....👍👈😎

My current battery tray is ‘previously’ buggered up so………. Although new ones can still be had, I got myself one in solid shape (thanks to @letterman52) , cleaned her up, primed and coated with rubberized spray -
Time to go battery shopping! 🤗

@JDNs78FJ40 amazing job. What did you use to finish the inside column and crank top threaded shaft?
I soaked all the parts in evapo rust for 24 hours to get rid of all the rust and then used a small wire brush to clean them up. Coated the inside of the column and threads on the extension in fluid film and they turned out nice.

I’ve spent a couple hours a night for the last week digging my project out from under five years of accumulated junk. Hoping to get her on the road for the first time in almost 10 years.
