Bout too pretty to use now……Stripped, blasted, powder coated OEM Jack. Thanks to @kevos37 for supplying the jack.
Powder coat: Prismatic powders Caterpillar Yellow II (PSS-2550) for body, Super Chrome (USS-4482) for threads on top post.

Incredible job.Restored a period correct bottle jack I bought in the classifieds. This was a fun little project. The zip tie trick for getting the extension back in worked perfectly!

I soaked all the parts in evapo rust for 24 hours to get rid of all the rust and then used a small wire brush to clean them up. Coated the inside of the column and threads on the extension in fluid film and they turned out nice.@JDNs78FJ40 amazing job. What did you use to finish the inside column and crank top threaded shaft?
Something else on my to do list for my 40!Road testing new bulbs. LED vice conventional.
