Restored a period correct bottle jack I bought in the classifieds. This was a fun little project. The zip tie trick for getting the extension back in worked perfectly!

@JDNs78FJ40 amazing job. What did you use to finish the inside column and crank top threaded shaft?
I soaked all the parts in evapo rust for 24 hours to get rid of all the rust and then used a small wire brush to clean them up. Coated the inside of the column and threads on the extension in fluid film and they turned out nice.

I’ve spent a couple hours a night for the last week digging my project out from under five years of accumulated junk. Hoping to get her on the road for the first time in almost 10 years.

Got my new exhaust put on with the 3FE manifolds I recently installed.

Ended up merging both exhaust manifolds at bell housing then using a band clamp /connection then ran it over skid plate to muffler located behind rear axle, exiting in out the rear on pass side .

Was able to install factory heat shields tight but they fit.

Next up is to install the 90 degree fittings on my oil filter lines. I was able to procure them from "75fj40Toy" who was nice enough to send to me. Thanks again!

Then I will be removing the 32/36 Weber and installing the freshly rebuilt original carb/ air cleaner. Thanks "Pinhead" for your videos detailing the rebuild process.

Am waiting on new throttle cable and fuel line nuts from "ToyotaMatt " before I can install it.
